Two Recent Presentations on Investing in Renewable Energy

As I mentioned Monday, I did a presentation at a Renewable Energy Expo on Saturday about investing in renewable energy... This is a Powerpoint Recap of my Investing in Renewable Energy 101 article, with some Visual Comparisons and stock picking advice thrown in.  I list a bunch of stocks on a few of the slides, and as usual, many of which I own (see disclosure below.)

You can download my Introduction to Investing In Renewable Energy here.

Yesterday, I also did a 45 minute presentation to private equity investors on ways too look at renewable energy for the private equity investor.  I'm posting them because attendees might be interested in referring back to them.  You can download my presentation on Electricity Generation Comparisons and Metrics here.

Tom,
I clicked thru the links to your presentations via my Mac. The Intro to Investing in Renewable Energy and the Electricity Generation Comparison led to heiroglyphics rather than PDFs, and the presenatation to private equity investors led to the Kieretsu website, but I could not find a link to your presentation.

I'm not complaining -- as a newby to your site, I will find it highly interesting. But if I could get links to your presentations it would be even better.

Thanks a ton, Kevin Murphy

Thanks for the heads up, Kevin. These are Powerpoint presentaions, and you probably have to install reader software on your Mac to view them. Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks for sharing Tom ... very interesting / useful. BTW, I had no problem reading them on my Mac, but then again I have MS Office for Mac installed.

One nit, tho: sound effects are, um, so 80s ... see Prof. Tufte for his treatise on powerpoint (http://www.edwardtufte.com/tufte/powerpoint). ;-)

Thanks again ... and I look forward to reading more great stuff.

-- Chris
